“Performance Complex” by Saemon

Yuuma’s little step-sister Mayu is better than him in virtually everything, so he has a massive inferiority complex and takes out his frustrations on her. When she gets the top score on the latest test results, it’s the last straw.

Unfortunately, the release is missing a page (15) because the scanner or uploader skipped it, and it’s unlikely it will show up anytime soon. If it’s any consolation, its absence hardly affects the story and may not even be noticed by many people.

  1. Stupid question, but on p5 “Mayu became my stepsister when our parents remarried to eachother”
So does that mean they are related by blood or not?

  2. Thanks for the release, too bad for the missing page. Oh well, at the pace this author gets published in a couple of years perhaps we’ll get see it in a tank… 😉

    • I think Saemon is pretty regularly published in COMIC Shitsurakuten (not necessarily every month, but certainly more than once or twice a year). When it comes time for the artist’s first Wanimaga tank, there’s the possibility this story and Dekoboko Complex will make it in there. But if that does happen, we may just have to wipe these two entries to be on the safe side… that would kinda suck.

    • That’s true, but I think it’s okay to have flawed main characters once in a while. I have a soft spot for Holden Caulfield-like characters who have a lot of room for character growth.

  3. Thanks for the share! Never expected to see a “Catcher in the Rye” reference drop by, but anyways, If there was ever a release which includes the missing page, will you translate it and repost?
