A bit of alcohol-aided assistance to (a-hem) bolster one’s courage is fine, too, but I tend to agree with Tomoya; notwithstanding apparently having great sexual chemistry, Miyu shouldn’t depend on having to get ‘smashed’ when it comes to building a relationship.
One might wonder whether this was some sort of poke at “art imitating life”, i.e., the reference to “daily drinking parties”. IMHO, such a thing if persisted in will only lead to trouble later on (alcoholism and other less-than-desirable things). So I personally hope Tomoya can help Miyu get out of that vicious cycle, whether or not the artist draws a sequel story about that.
Nonetheless ….. “Isn’t That Cute? … BUT IT’S RIGHT!”
I wouldn’t read too deeply into it. In my opinion, I think Tokiwa Midori was going for the gap moe of Miyu being completely different from when she sober to being drunk.

Believe me, I wish it were finished already. I split it into four parts because of its length, and part III has been translated since months ago, but the editor had to take a break, then eventually dropped from the project. We didn’t have a backup plan, so I’ll eventually step in to finish the editing, but my hands are tied up with several other projects right now. I’m very sorry and frustrated that it’s been dragged out this long, but please bear with us a little longer.
